VERACITYHUB TERMS OF USE

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the VeracityHub website (“Site”), dashboard, documentation, API interface, and related online services (collectively, the “Services”) operated by VeracityHub (“VeracityHub,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

If your organization has executed a Master Services Agreement (MSA) with VeracityHub, the MSA governs your paid or contractual use of the Services, and these Terms apply only to your general website use, trial/evaluation accounts, and non-API browsing behavior.

1. Eligibility & Account Registration

To use the Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be acting on behalf of a business entity
  • Have authority to bind your organization
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining account credentials
  • Restricting access to your account
  • All activity occurring under your login

2. Use of the Services

The Services are provided for business use only.

You may use the Services to:

  • Access your VeracityHub dashboard
  • Generate or manage API keys
  • Use the API for identity and phone verification
  • Upload batch files for processing
  • Review logs, performance metrics, and related reports
  • View and use documentation

You may not:

  • Use the Services to violate any law (TCPA, FCRA, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Attempt to scrape, copy, or reproduce any data or derived datasets
  • Resell the Services without authorization
  • Use the Services for surveillance, stalking, or unlawful monitoring
  • Circumvent rate limits or security controls
  • Attempt unauthorized testing, reverse engineering, or decompiling
  • Use automated tools to overwhelm the system
3. Customer Data

“Customer Data” means any data you or your organization transmit to VeracityHub through:

  • API calls
  • Batch file uploads
  • Dashboard interactions
  • Webhooks

VeracityHub acts as a Processor / Service Provider with respect to all Customer Data.

Customer Data may include:

  • Phone numbers
  • Names
  • Addresses
  • Email addresses
  • Identity attributes
  • Carrier and CNAM information
  • Soft pull identity match metadata

VeracityHub does NOT:

  • Collect personal data directly from consumers
  • Store appended identity data beyond transient processing
  • Sell or share Customer Data
  • Use Customer Data for advertising or marketing
  • Determine the lawful basis for Customer Data submission

Customers remain responsible for:

  • Obtaining necessary consents
  • Ensuring permissible purpose
  • Complying with all laws applicable to their data usage

4. API & Rate Limits

You may only access the API using approved API keys.

You agree not to:

  • Share API keys externally
  • Attempt to bypass or manipulate rate limits
  • Use the API to build competing services
  • Use the API for consumer calling without appropriate consent

VeracityHub may:

  • Suspend or revoke keys
  • Throttle traffic
  • Block suspicious or abusive requests

5. Third-Party Data & Subprocessors

VeracityHub uses trusted third-party data providers (“Subprocessors”) to deliver:

  • CNAM and carrier lookup
  • Identity matching
  • Reverse lookup
  • OTP delivery
  • Soft pull identity confirmation
  • Cloud hosting
  • Logging and analytics

VeracityHub is not responsible for the accuracy of third-party data sources.

6. Soft Pull Identity Match

Certain Services may involve soft pull identity verification.

VeracityHub does NOT:

  • Provide full credit reports
  • Make credit decisions
  • Provide consumer credit scores
  • Collect consumer authorization on Customer’s behalf

Customer agrees to:

  • Obtain consumer consent when required
  • Maintain FCRA-permissible purpose
  • Use soft pull metadata ONLY for identity validation or prequalification
  • Not use soft pull results for underwriting unless legally permitted

VeracityHub is not liable for Customer misuse of soft pull data.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You may NOT use the Services to:

  • Contact consumers without consent
  • Generate spam calls or texts
  • Validate numbers for illegal robocalling
  • Attempt mass identity lookup
  • Conduct scraping or data harvesting
  • Engage in fraud or evasion of carrier protections
  • Manipulate number reputation systems
  • Attempt unauthorized penetration testing
  • Bypass access controls

Violation may result in immediate termination.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, software, code, models, designs, and documentation are owned by VeracityHub.

You may not:

  • Copy or use the VeracityHub brand without permission
  • Reproduce or distribute documentation
  • Remove copyright notices
  • Create derivative works

9. Availability & Modifications

We may:

  • Update or modify the Services at any time
  • Suspend or limit access for maintenance
  • Disable features
  • Change APIs or endpoints

We will provide notice when feasible.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

VERACITYHUB DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness
  • Accuracy or completeness of third-party data
  • Uninterrupted or error-free service
  • Suitability for any particular legal use

We do not guarantee:

  • Phone validity
  • Identity match accuracy
  • TCPA compliance
  • Carrier deliverability
  • Data uptime from external providers

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • VeracityHub is not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.
  • VeracityHub’s total liability is limited to the amount paid in the last 12 months.

Some jurisdictions may restrict these limitations.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold VeracityHub harmless against claims arising from:

  • Customer misuse of the Services
  • TCPA violations
  • FCRA violations
  • Improper consumer consent practices
  • Unauthorized data submissions
  • Breach of these Terms

13. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

Binding Arbitration

Any dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Delaware under the AAA commercial rules.

Class Action Waiver

You agree not to bring class, collective, or representative actions.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, excluding conflicts of law principles.

Venue for permitted legal disputes is Delaware.

15. Termination

VeracityHub may suspend or terminate access if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • Your activity poses security risks
  • Your API behavior is abusive
  • Required legal or compliance standards demand it

You may stop using the Services at any time.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting updates on this page.
